New era for the City of Abbotsford 
Abbotsford residents endorsed the Citys Plan A proposal in a referendum Saturday. Were very pleased with the result of this referendum, said Abbotsford Mayor George Ferguson.

Rexburg looking for office space 
REXBURG – Because city offices are located in two different buildings, city officials are considering short-term options and long-range goals. Mayor Shawn Larsen said, “The set-up is not conducive to good government. We need to be in a place where we can house everybody under one roof.”

Disabled-friendly Metro for Bangalore 
Disabled people of Bangalore have indicated the city’s metro system and other services connected to it should be easy for them to access. Over the years they have been complaining that government buildings are not easily accessible to them.

Cost, need top City Hall repair factors 
By CHARLES W. KIM Register Citizen Staff TORRINGTON – About 25 people came out to City Hall on Thursday night for the second information meeting and walking tour of the 70-year-old building. The meeting and tour presented information on the proposed $19.5 million renovation project for the facility.

City post office wants to stay put
